Why ready-to-use?
Go straight to your experiments and just use the droppers. No pure stain powders, no milligram range balances needed.
Why small volumes?
One drop is 50 µl, there are 200 drops in 10 ml. Most stains are fresh only for 12 months. Small bottles reduce waste and stay fresh.
Why safe selections?
We only offer microscopy chemicals that are suitable for hobbyist and educational use. They can be handled safely with just common-sense precautions such as wearing gloves and avoiding ingestion.

What products do you offer?
We focus on stains, since they are the hardest to acquire outside professional labs — especially for schools and hobbyists. Fixatives are not included because alcohol is flammable and difficult to ship, and alcohol/glycol (glycerine) are much easier to obtain locally. For mounting, we may offer water-based solutions like glycerine jelly in the future.
Why do you not offer stain X?
We do not offer anything that we find unsafe to handle with normal precautions (gloves, no ingestion, keep out of reach of children).
Can you explain what you mean by safe?
By “safe,” we mean that our stains are free from substances classified under GHS as toxic, corrosive, or carcinogenic. They are chosen specifically for hobby and school use. Like household cleaning products, they still require common-sense care — wear gloves, don't ingest, and keep out of reach of children.
How do you keep solutions fresh?
All our stain solutions are water-based. To prevent mold or degradation, we add a very small amount of Sodium Benzoate (E211) — the same preservative commonly used in food and beverages. At most, a 10 ml bottle contains only about 10 mg, just enough to keep it fresh.

Safety Criteria
We select stains according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). That means we exclude any substances classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic, or reprotoxic (CMR), as well as corrosives (Skin Corr. 1 / Eye Dam. 1), acutely toxic chemicals (Acute Tox. 1–3), or strong inhalation hazards.
The stains we do offer, at working concentrations (~0.1%), are at most mild irritants — suitable for hobby and educational use when handled with common-sense precautions (wear gloves, don't ingest, keep out of reach of children).
The only additive we use is Sodium Benzoate (E211), a food-grade preservative, in tiny amounts to keep water-based solutions fresh.
